In almost all my life I have been involved with
dogs.
My mother Elsa Edgren and I bred rough collie,
shetland sheepdog
and bearded collies under the prefix Bifrost
between the years 1958
- 1973. We also had a cc-winning shi tzu, pug
and some miniature
poodles. Later also bred a couple of lhasa apso
champions.
We bred around 100 champions in those breeds.
In 1972
The Swedish Kenel Club awarded us the Hamiltonplaketten, a most
prestigeous prize for breeding top class dogs.
After my marriage to Per in 1973 we took the
prefix Moorwood and only breed
shetland sheepdog. We have now bred 100
champions and 33 of them are
international
champions. We have also bred 3 World winners
and 2 Junior World winners.
We were also the first foreign breeder to have
bred a none English born sheltie to
become GB Ch.
You can find Moorwood in many pedigrees all
around the world.
We have also imported 30 shelties from
Australia, New Zealand, Canada and
England. Most of them are titled and have
strongly contributed to the standard
of the shetland sheepdog .
In 1964 I started to judge in open shows.
1967 I was the founder of the Swedish Shetland
Sheepdog Club.
In 1976 I was authorized as a judge by the
Swedish Kennel Club and my first breeds
were collies, shelties and bearded collies.

Is a mentor for new judges in Iceland.

Sydney Royal Australia.
